Aged 6, Jamie was approached by Chelsea, Reading, Norwich and Aldershot before signing for Portsmouth FC.

Jamie was originally developed by Chelsea FC's foundation programe at Cobham whilst he was playing for Farncombe Youth FC.

He was initially signed by Aldershot FC's Academy. The club went into administration and closed the boys academy enabling Jamie to sign for Portsmouth.

Jamie was part of the original Portsmouth development squad assesment of 100 boys before it was narrowed down to 30 players and then to a dozen or so.

Jamie went on to spend 11 seasons with Portmouth FC Academy and was the sole remaining player from the orginal intake.

Speed

His outstanding speed (35+kmh) performance is on par with Premiship players. It enables Jamie to burst past players in a 1 v 1 situation and attack space quickly. 30 metre sprint time of 3.85 seconds (PB*).

Dribbling

Able to dribble in tight areas and find the right pass and cross.

Two Footed

Something Jamie has recently developed to great effect as you will see in the video clips of goals. Defenders don't know which way he will drive.
